Week 16 – MailChimp Re-visited
We’re in the home stretch for the class! Your final website is due on May 14 by the end of class. At the beginning of class on the 14th we will run the final hydropackulicity search to determine the winner of the SEO contest. You must be present to win.
Mailchimp Homework Assignment – Due Monday April 30
Create a new MailChimp email marketing template that matches the design of your website. Send an email to the class list that you created earlier in the semester, and announce the launch of your new website. Please be sure to include me on the email list, and to link to your new website as well.
Week 15 – Class Roundup
Past Assignments
For those of you who missed class last week (April 9) I need two assignments completed:
- Please complete the assignment described on Page 3 of the class presentation. (100 points)
- Please fill out the form on the Hydropaculicity SEO Contest page to officially register your Hydropackulicity website. You can change it later for a 25-point penalty. (100 points)
This Week’s Assignments
- Please fill out the form on the Semester Website Project page to register the URL of your website. (100 points)
- Upload your website files as-is. I don’t expect you to be complete with all design and coding at this point, but you should have a start on your site and something up. This is considered your first draft of your website. You’ll mainly be judged on whether or not you have something of substance completed, not on the polish or quality of the site. (500 points)
Week 14 – Keeping Up With News
For those of you who didn’t make it to class, take a look at today’s in-class assignment on page 3 of the presentation. The assignment is to review a current events news article and post a response/review/commentary to the comments section of this post.
